I don't know how to play golf. I mean real golf. I played once in the mall but that was not a real golf golf. I have not been in a golf course in my whole life. So, why am I writing about golf? That's because I want to experience how to play golf and play in a real golf course even just once in my life time. Alright. This post is getting annoying now. Let's get to the point.
If you are in Myrtle Beach and you are looking for a quick round of golf with your family or friends, just visit http://www.myrtle-beach-tee-times.com/ and you will find a lot of information. If you are also planning a Golf vacation, that site is pretty good too because it has information about car rentals, airports, restaurants, hotels or spas for a great golf experience.
I went to check that site and the very first thing that I looked were the prices or rates. I took a glance at the Myrtle Beach golf rates page. I love how they list the golf courses in alphabetical order and with their rates. I also went and peeked at Myrtle Beach golf packages just because I like to save big and this site did not disappoint me.
Have a great weekend everyone. Spend time with your family and maybe play golf. That would be fun. I need to search this site http://www.myrtle-beach-tee-times.com/ some more. Talk to you later.

My Brown Skin and the Beaches
Posted by Jojo at 11:01 PMIt has been over a month since our visit in the East Coast but my skin is still very brown. We had so much fun walking around under the sun in the beach that's why I got tanned. I like this color really. I am not complaining. It is just that I can't believe I am not peeling or anything. I guess I did good with the lotion and stuff.
I don't mind going back to the East Coast someday like maybe vacationing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. SC is a good place to visit I heard. I went to http://www.seasidemb.com just to get some ideas and some photos. It looked inviting to me. I also checked the Myrtle Beach hotel reservations just because (like we are going on vacation lol). I just like the feeling to do it. Can't you tell I want a vacation again?
I love the beach. I just like the sound of the waves, the wind, everything. I miss our Maui days. We used to walk on the sand by the shore every evening. We also used to just talk or eat while watching the sunset. It was wonderful and I can't forget it. Memories... My skin never got lighter. I was so tanned while on Maui.
Enough with Maui. Are their any more activities to do or places to visit in Myrtle Beach or near Myrtle Beach? I just Googled Myrtle Beach Accommodations and there are a lot of options. I hope and pray that someday we can go there.

Just Got Home From Florida
Posted by Jojo at 7:20 PMI thought we could not go to Florida because of the Hurricane Earl but I was wrong. Our vacation happened and I am just so happy that we did it. We went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center in Disneyworld and we had so much fun. We actually just got back home.
I am so sore. We walked a lot in Disneyworld plus it was so hot and humid. I also had to carry the little girl once in a while just to make her feel better.
Okay...I have a lot to say but I have to go. Talk to you later.

Talking About Golf
Posted by Jojo at 11:46 AMThe only time that I went golfing was in a mini-golf in the mall. Lol* I went with my husband that day and I had a great time. I really didn't know how to swing or hit the ball but the first time experience was just great.
I wonder if there is a discounted golf tee times here in Colorado that I can afford. I'd really want to go on a golf course and feel like Tiger Woods. That would be a wonderful experience for me. Where I grew up, there is no such thing as golf at all.
Well, speaking about tee times, if you are in the Myrtle Beach area and want to book last minute tee times, check out the site www.48hourteetimes.com. You can see that they can book within 48 hour tee times.

I Want A Real Vacation
Posted by Jojo at 10:30 PMI just had a vacation called stay-cation. I just stayed in our home with the kids during those three weeks. We were planning to go somewhere outside of Colorado Springs but we had to cancel because my husband had to work. We were planning to go to Florida at the end of this week but it looks like it is going to be canceled because of Hurricane Earl. I am still hopeful that our trip will go through but if it is going to be dangerous in Florida during our vacation then I'd rather just stay home with my family and be safe.
I really miss swimming in the beach, enjoying the sunshine and some tropical drinks. I was hoping this would happen this year but oh well. I was just kind of surfing, looking through sites like http://www.grandeshores.com and just dreaming again. Yes, I am a dreamer.
Someday soon, I'd want to go to a beach and stay in a grand hotel like the Myrtle Beach hotel. How I wish it'd be tomorrow. I want to go somewhere. I want to have a vacation. A real vacation. Aaaaahhh... I am sorry. I am just so upset and just sad.
Anyways, check out some great Myrtle Beach vacation deals if you want to have a grand vacation.
Please, Wrong Timing Hurricane Earl

I Want To Go To A Beach
Posted by Jojo at 10:07 PMI want to go to a beach right now. I want to enjoy the sun, the saltwater, and some nice views. I wish I could go to a beach right away but it is just impossible because of where we are.
Well, I was just browsing and dreaming and then I found Myrtle Beach. (It is not bad to dream at all.) Maybe, someday, my family and I could go over there and enjoy the place. I looked at a Myrtle Beach hotel pictures and they were lovely. Because I am a curious person in nature, I also read their Myrtle Beach best hotels reviews. It was just so interesting what people had to say.
If you are planning on getting somewhere to spend time with family, enjoy golf and the beach, I would say check this site out http://www.horizonmyrtlebeach.com and maybe you'll consider going there.
Have fun and enjoy the rest of the summer!

Boracay Island
Posted by Jojo at 10:29 AMI was just dropping some Entrecards this morning and I bumped into a blog that talks about a house for sale in Boracay. It has a nice deck which is overlooking the beach. It is very beautiful. The bad news is that they are selling it for PHP22 Million.

It would be nice to have some extra money to buy some holiday homes somewhere in the Philippines. If I had the money, I would buy homes in Boracay, Baguio and Bohol. Oh, what a dream!
I have been to great places in the United States but not in the Philippines. The Philippines has a lot of great vacation spots. They are very beautiful plus the cost of living isn't that expensive which means your money will last longer (if you spend your money wisely).
It has been 2 years since my last visit to my family in the Philippines. If I get the chance to go back sometime soon with my family, I would like to visit Dakak Park Beach Resort in Dipolog which is probably over 3 hours away from where my parents and siblings live. It is not as fabulous as Maui, Hawaii where I used to live with my husband but at least my parents and siblings can experience what it is like to be in a beautiful place like that. I wonder how much that is going to cost for all of us to go there and maybe spend a night.
I am just dreaming right now. Someday...we can do it.

Win A Family Fun Memphis Trip Package
Posted by Jojo at 8:18 PMThis is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Memphis Travel. All opinions are 100% mine.
Yes! All of us need a vacation once in a while. My family was going to visit the state of Oklahoma this year but the plans changed because of some reasons. First, my husband has to work. Second, my husband has to work. It is okay though because I don't mind staying in Colorado. I mean, Colorado is such a beautiful state. There are a lot of places to visit here.
I also don't mind exploring other places like Memphis, TN where big singers like Johnny Cash or Elvis Presley got their big starts. Does this city have a lot of places that are worth the visit? I don't know. That is why, the Memphis-savvy travel guide is a good start.
While reading the guide, I found out that there are some interesting things that we can do in Memphis. If my family gets a chance to go to Memphis, I would love to go to the Memphis Zoo and get nose-to-nose with polar bears. That would be awesome. I would definitely want to ride a horse-drawn carriage and enjoy the streets of downtown Memphis (and take a lot of pictures).
We can also watch the boats floating on the historic Mississippi River and enjoy time.
If you want to go to Memphis as well, I would suggest for you to enter to win a trip package and enjoy the city. There are various packages to win but my favorite and the most fabulous package is the Family Package. Here is the page to signup for the giveaway.

You Gotta Love Vacations
Posted by Jojo at 6:58 PMThis is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.
Oh, yes! I love vacations. My family and I take our family vacation every year. Honestly, that is my favorite part of the year because I can spend more time with my family without the work or stress. I like to travel on the road and watch the horizon in front of our vehicle especially during a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Guest what? I can't wait for our next vacation in the middle of this year.Last year, we went to Missouri. We stayed with family and then enjoyed the Saint Louis & Saint Charles tourist attractions. My favorite was the time when we sat by the little lake near the Gateway Arch. It was beautiful. I would like to go back there anytime and then visit the Branson area.
The places that I would like to visit in Branson are the Silver Dollar City theme park (this will be fun for the kids), Titanic Museum, Haunted House (my husband wouldn't have a choice but to go with me), and the Amazing Waltzing Waters which I saw in Youtube and truly is amazing.
While in Branson, I would like to stay at Hilton Branson Convention Center which would be a great place to spend our anniversary. We could get a 1 King 1 Br Condo Balcony suite for more space and enjoy the residential amenities like the dining table which seats four, standard refrigerator, and a 32” LCD flat panel television. Another option would be to stay at Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing which would also be a perfect place for our family to enjoy all the entertainment that Branson has to offer. Many of their rooms have this splendid views of Lake Taneycomo and the fountains at Branson Landing. If you are thinking about going on a vacation, you have to check these hotels' special offer dates and great rates. You just have to.
I know money is tough right now but you deserve it once in a while. Relax. Get a nice vacation. I know my family is going to have one soon. I can't wait.

A Romantic Hawaii Vacation
Posted by Jojo at 2:16 PMI miss Hawaii. I miss the beautiful beaches, the flowers in my hair, the wonderful sunsets, the walks along the beach, the friendliness of the people (the Aloha spirit), and my friends. I hope to go back there with my family or maybe just my husband and I for a romantic Hawaii vacation.
Hawaii is a perfect place for fun and sun...a place for a perfect getaway. If you are planning to take a vacation to Hawaii, visit the Ka'anapali Resort on the island of Maui. Swimming and relaxing on the world's best beaches, the Kaanapali beach, is unbeatable.
Check out the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel for a great vacation experience. From movies on demand to complimentary tea and coffee, you'll feel home away from home. If you love to shop, golf, get a spa or just some activities for the whole family, Ka'anapali Beach Hotel has everything.
There are several events or activities that I want to do when I visit Hawaii again. Those include kayaking, jet skiing, watching the sunrise in Haleakala, taking an air tour, hiking, witness a luau and most of all swimming in the beach. My favorite island is Maui. Maui Weddings happen a lot in this island because I think this place is the most romantic Hawaii island.
If you are planning to get married or have a honeymoon in a Maui Resort like Ka'anapali Beach Resort, I guarantee you that you will feel like a dream come true.

Our Missouri Vacation Story
Posted by Jojo at 8:36 PMMy husband had been planning for this vacation for months. He was very excited that he could finally see his aunts and cousins in Missouri after a very long time (3 years). I can not blame him. I, too, miss my family and friends very much.
My husband, our kids, my mother in law and I drove to Missouri which lasted more than 13 hours. We had to stop every 3 hours at least for the little baby to be fed and for us to stretch. It was a little boring because we had to drive along the flat Kansas State. There was nothing to see except the horizon and the challenging bright morning sun which was always telling us "Hey, I'm up. Look at me". Oh, before I forget, my husband made a comment about driving in I-70 along Kansas. Other than the horizon and the sun, he said that he saw a lot of churches on the west part of Kansas along the highway but the closer we were to Missouri, the more adult stores (XXX) signs came up. I really did not notice but confirmed it when going back home.
In Missouri, we stayed in a motel because it was cheaper. We went to bed right away after bathing and stuff. Who could stay up longer after a long trip? The next day was when the fun began. We went to my husband's aunt's place. They have a pool, a barn, a big back yard and a beautiful lake.
Second day in Missouri was a mix of good and bad. The good part was when I finally saw the ARCH with my little family. We walked under the big trees and the sun while looking up to the sky just to see the top of the arch. I did not know that there is a ride inside so you can go to the highest point of it and see the City of Saint Louis from up there. Well, I guess it does not matter because I would not go ride anyway with 2 little kids. The bad part was when we all got angry and cranky, hot and sticky, sweaty, and hungry. My dear husband and I had a little argument, went to silence for a while and just walked for a mile or more just to find a place to eat. He finally said to go inside Sundeckers.
As you can see in the picture below, it was a big meal. Guess what? I ate them all. That was how hungry I was and I did not realize it.
Later that day, we were relaxed by the lake near the Arch. It was fun. We went to our normal sense- no more arguing.
The third day was simple. We went to see Aunt "D", my husband's aunt. We talked for hours (actually I was more of a listener) and then had pizza and hot wings for dinner. I had the cheese pizza, though.
The last day in Missouri was the window shopping day. We went to the shopping strip in downtown Saint Charles the whole afternoon. They have historic buildings and cute stores. I did not buy anything though except the smoothie- yummy.
Then, later that evening, we had dinner at Applebees with a family friend.
We had a quick, hot, summer vacation. Where did you go this summer?

Where was I?
Posted by Jojo at 8:46 PMI have no idea why I came by. I just missed blogging. I guess I have to visit this once in a while so blogger.com does not close my account (if they ever do). Anyway, I had a great time last month for our two-week vacation.
Here are some of the pictures.
We were just relaxing by the lake with great colors around us in Pinetop, Arizona.

We were in the train here going to the city of San Francisco.

We were visiting the great Petrified Forest in Arizona. I was amazed.

It was a great family vacation for sure and I thank God for this beautiful country.

Our Wildest Vacation So Far
Posted by Jojo at 8:44 PMWe went skydiving!!! Just kidding. I wish I could do that. That would be my wildest dream. I used to work in a photo lab and I used to see a lot of skydiving pictures from our customers. It looked very cool and at the same time, very scary.
So what was our wildest vacation so far? Or should I say craziest? Can you guess?
That would be our vacation in San Francisco. It was not planned. We went there just to pick up our car from Hawaii and was going to travel from there to Anaheim. The weather was so bad that day so we decided to stay and enjoy the city. There are a lot of things to do in San Francisco but we chose to walk from our hotel to the famous Golden Gate Bridge on the 31st of December, 2005. It took us 6 hours back and forth. We could have taken a cab but since we wanted to enjoy the bay and the activities going on by it, we decided to burn our calories. It was crazy and tiring but it was definitely fun.
What was your wildest, craziest, funniest vacation ever? Are you planning on doing one soon? How about some sightseeing tours in Honolulu, Hawaii. My first time in Honolulu especially in Waikiki area was shocking. I saw a lot of sexy swimmers with almost-nothing bathing suits. I had a culture shock, I guess. I came from a very conservative family.
(I am sorry. I did not take pictures with thongs and speedos.) And, I saw beautiful and amazing views.
Someday, I want to visit New York just out of curiousity. I am sure that there are lot of things to do in New York. That includes seeing the Statue of Liberty. My friend, Ate Liz, was there once. I am jealous.
Are you looking for ideas on what to do this summer? Or maybe you are looking for Things to do in Las Vegas. Sign up for the Trusted Tours & Attractions' newsletter. They offer discounted tickets to cities where you might want to go visit and some great ideas that you might not want to miss. They have a special promotion right now. By signing up on the newsletter, you might end up winning the $150 iTunes gift card. That would be cool!
Speaking of cool, my son had a cool idea in my wildest dreams. He wanted to go somewhere where he can ride horses and inch worms.

Wazzup Peepz!
Posted by Jojo at 1:25 AM
What's up people!!! My son would probably say that.
I am sure he is excited for our family vacation in August. That would be our second family vacation with him. The first one was in Hawaii. This second will be in Arizona. We will just drive our Mazda and enjoy the view. It will be cheaper than taking the plane. What do you think?
Our son is a good traveler. He likes to sit in his car seat. He knows when it is "bye bye" time. He also knows how to say "bye". It is very cute. You can tell how proud I am.
Now let us go back to the vacation topic. I am so curious about the beauty of Texas. My husband was born in Texas so I want to see the state and it's pride.
I found this Shangri La Gardens and Nature Center which is located in Orange, TX. Have you been there yet? My son loves colors. He will probably enjoy the place. Take a look at their pictures I found below. Isn't it pretty?
Shangri La Gardens and Nature Center earned a U.S. Green Building Council's Platinum Certification for LEED®-NC which means that kids can learn a lot with their eco friendly nature. They use a lot of green design strategies such as soybean-based spray foam insulation in the walls and ceilings and solar photovoltaic panels installed on part of the roofs. Wow! I wish my hometown high school students could come for their Science field trip. This would be a perfect place. Unfortunately, they are too far away.
I recommend that you visit the site and check out their history. They have great pictures. I have saliva all over my chin. I could not stop looking and keep my mouth shut.
Are you from Orange Texas? have you visited Orange Texas? or have you visited the Shangri La Gardens and Nature Center? I'd like to hear from you peepz.
