Aerial Photography

My Uncle in law used to own aerial photography business. It was called Phil’s Phlying Photos. Basically it was an excuse to write his plane off as a business expense. When he hit the state lottery he did not need the write off anymore and the aerial photography business went away. Now he needs something to write off his helicopter, plane and new Escalade.

(Screenshot from a video @ http://www.skycamusa.com)

He was not like new companies that offer services like aerial videography or aerial cinematography. As a matter of fact, he did not really offer photos. Nope… You had to take your own camera and he just piloted the plane for you. I have never been up with him, but I hear he has a steady hand so that your photographs would turn out great. No matter anymore though as the business is no more.

Luckily for us, there is no shortage of companies that offer aerial photography services. In times like these, I bet you can find some really good deals. I wonder if my husband would spring for a fly over of our renewal of vows he owes me after the stuff he is putting me through this year. I guess I will find out in October… I still can’t get over that he is snorkeling in Hawaii with whales and I am here in the cold place Colorado.

Girl's Clothing For Less

My husband, our kids and I went to this neighborhood to buy three bags of used 2T clothes for our little girl. I found the ad on Craigslist. I thought the deal was great so I told the ad poster that I'd buy them. The clothes were still nice so I was happy with it.

I really don't know if we can afford to buy girls clothing nowadays. My little boy has lots of hand-me-down clothes from his cousins so I don't have a problem with him. My growing daughter's clothing however is my concern. I thought maybe I'd buy children's clothes from Goodwill or Craigslist just to save money. Unfortunately, it is hard to find clothes for her age plus she is petite. I also don't want her to wear used clothes all the time.

Do you know of a children's clothing Website that you can recommend? Thank you in advance.

Using Skype

Wow...Skype is actually pretty good. I downloaded it today so I could video talk with my husband. I also called him on his cellphone and his voice was clear. He was also impressed because he could hear me really well. There was no statics or anything.

We decided to use Skype because we have been really upset with the way Yahoo Messenger is acting. It keeps signing us in and then out. It is very annoying. Skype is really good because I could see my husband in a big screen without freezing the computer. I love Skype.

Earn Rewards While You Shop?

I recently found a website that gives you cash back while you shop online. It is a loyalty rewards program where it is supposed to be simple and fun. This website is called Loyalese.

The owner of this website appears to be an affiliate of certain companies like Walmart, GAP, Macys, and maybe more and then share the commissions to the Loyalese members who has done their shopping through the site. I have not made my tour yet because I did not get a chance to register. If you are a member already, can you tell me more about this site? It would be nice to know because I am a huge fan of the ease of online shopping.

They have a Loyalese Facebook fan page as well. I better check that out and see what information I can find. Have a great Friday everyone and have a wonderful weekend.

Just Talking About Modular Space Systems (MSS)

My husband used to work in the backroom of a local Wal-Mart and I used to have to hear him complain about the inefficiencies and lack of a coherent organization system for the back stock. I think that they could have used a bit of help from these guys. I do not know anything about prefabricated warehouses, but these things are easy on the eyes unlike some of the Wal-Mart cookie cutter buildings.

I am not much of a fan of green technology mainly because initially anything that had the “green” label attached to it was going to be ugly and embarrassing to be seen with. That is not the case with the green modular building and sustainable modular building that Modular Space Systems offers. Their green facilities are attractive and inviting unlike some of the other prefabricated buildings that are on the market. I was pleasantly surprised that these were green buildings.

As a matter of fact it looks like Modular Space Systems put a lot of thought and energy into making their warehouse mezzanine systems attractive and efficient. These buildings are way more than four walls, a door and a few windows. If you or your business is in need of more space, why not check out the innovative solutions offered by the Modular Space Systems?

Family Adventures

I love to go on family adventures either in Colorado or outside the state. Recently, my family missed the Colorado Balloon Classic because we went to Florida. No regrets though. We had fun in Florida and that was a rare opportunity for us to get free airline tickets.

Because I'd like to go somewhere in Colorado just to have some family fun, I went to check my local yellowpages book. It was hard because I guess I like to search online better than to scan a book. So, I visited local.com and did a local search for any events in my area. I actually found some decent ones where my kids could enjoy and they have dates as well.

I also found local restaurants that I never thought existed. Hmmm...great. Now, I have a new search tool. I wonder if they give reliable driving directions (because we got lost in Denver once using Google maps).

FriendGiftr Gift Cards, Interesting!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of FriendGiftr. All opinions are 100% mine.

The world is getting more high-tech. People can date online, socialize online, share pictures online, read news online, watch movies (I do it) online, and etc. Now, you can add sending gift cards online in the list.

Is there anything at all that can't be done online these days? Oh I have one - cleaning my house online. Hmmmppp.

FriendGiftr is a place online where you can buy and send real digital and/or physical gift cards to friends, family, and associates for the holidays, birthdays, or any other special occasions. For busy people like me, this service may be very beneficial. I mean all I have to do is Select A Merchant, Customize My Card and then (Walaaah) Send to my Friend or Family. It sounds easy.

I could have used this service to surprise my husband on his birthday. I already made something for him (which he already saw) for Father's Day. Well, this will be a good idea for his next birthday.

FriendGiftr has a lot of merchants that I like such as GAP, Macys, Marshalls, TJ Maxx and most especially Barnes & Noble. My husband loves to read books so this will be a perfect gift card for him. (I am really hoping that he is not reading my blog.)

The receivers have the option to swap the gift cards given to them for any of the 120 merchants Friendgiftr offers for no additional cost and without the buyer knowing. They can also split the gift card across multiple merchants which is kind of nice, I admit.

My nephew's birthday is coming so I guess I have to think about buying one. They said I can do it through their website , Facebook , iPhone , Blackberry and Android.

On NMEDA

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I did not know that their are special vehicles for disabled people until I started working in an insurance company. I work in the auto department. One day, there was one claim about a damaged vehicle with special equipment in it. The claimant was a disabled lady and she had this type of vehicle. I was really amazed with how she described how an equipment in her vehicle worked to help her get in the vehicle and get out. I thought that person who invented it must be really intelligent.

If you are looking for a special vehicle for your special loved one, just go to nmeda.org and look for a dealer in your local area.

NMEDA or National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association is a non-profit trade association that promotes safe driving and equipment for disabled people. NMEDA dealers/members are the people who sell handicap vans and modified vehicles and they are required to follow the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

NMEDA has dealers and Quality Assurance Program (QAP) dealers. QAP dealers are being held to extremely high standards in order to meet the highest customer satisfaction consistently. In my opinion if you buy from a QAP dealer, the product and services will be better.

Avoid buying adapted wheelchair vehicles over the Internet or through a catalog to avoid regrets. Get a personalized “in-person” evaluation with a dealer to get the best fit for you or your loved one's needs. With an NMEDA qualified dealer who could assist, an elderly or disabled can get back to the road with independence, and a caregiver will have an easier job.

I remember when my parents were taking care of my late grandmother. I was probably 5-7 years old at that time. They were having a hard time because my grandma could not walk anymore. They had to lift her to wherever she needed to go in the house. It was hard especially to get her in a vehicle. If this technology was available, it would have been an easy task.

So, if you are looking for this kind of vehicle, go ahead and visit nmeda.org. Click Locate a Dealer Menu and enter your zip code to find a qualified dealer near you. It is very easy.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Nexx Online. All opinions are 100% mine.

I purchased some domains last year and I don't know if I got a good deal. I purchased them for my other blogs. I don't know if I made the right choice.

Our Vacation

I am excited for our vacation in August this year. My boss approved my PTO for our 2-week family vacation. Instead of going to Anaheim, CA, we decided to go to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon plus more. It will be fun for all of us especially for my son who is more curious about things.

We are going to stay in a hotel with swimming pool, near hiking trails and lakes to go fishing. I am excited because I have not been to Arizona in a long while and I would like to enjoy the state.

My husband and I have not talked about getting a car rental yet. I have to tell him that if we do need to rent a car, we need to check the Advantage.com special offers first. I heard that they they always have low prices.

Have you rented a car with them yet? If not, check their site. It is very user-friendly. Check their special offers and you might get a great deal.

Life Of A Working Mom

Hello everyone. I do not know why I am still blogging right now. I should go to bed but my brain is still awake. How can I change this?

This is my daily routine.

1. Wake up between 9-10AM unless my son wakes me up earlier than 9Am.
2. Open just my one eye because half of my brain is still asleep.
3. Get something for my son to eat.
5. I eat breakfast with him.
6. My husband is still asleep.
7. Clean up the kitchen.
8. Bath the baby.
9. Get ready for work for a 12-9PM shift.
10. Drop my baby off to my mother-in-law's house.
11. Work.
12. Go to lunch.
13. Work.
14. Pick up the baby from mother-in-law's house and go home.
15. Change the baby into jammies.
16. Give him a snack and then milk.
17. Make him go to sleep.
18. Cook something for hubby because sometimes he is hungry from work.
19. Clean up the kitchen.
20. Watch the TV, blog, chat online or do all of them.
21. Cuddle with hubby.
21. Sleep between 1-2AM (or maybe later).

I am getting lazy. I need to go back to my son's album and finish the scrapbook that I started. I need to do something more interesting.

I am thankful that I have my son that helps me blog and chat with my friends.

Is the computer "on" Mikey?

Another thing that I thankful of is that there is this Photo Cards website that helps me make my own personalized card. I can just use this very easily without a hassle of going to a photo shop somewhere. I do not have time to go out just for a photo card. I can just sit here in front of my computer and personalized them while blogging. I can use my son's picture just like the blogging picture above and make it into a holiday card or a picture just like below that can be used anytime to greet a friend.

Just click on the picture to go directly to the design. You can write anything that you want on the front and inside of your personalized card. There are great designs for your kids.

It is really great to know a website like this for moms like me that are too busy. Are you a working mom? What is your routine?

Ways To Make Money Online, Part I

I am making a list of ways to make money online. Some of them have been tested by myself. Others are a possible money-making opportunities. Beware from the scammers, though. If they are asking you money to start an opportunity then it is a possible scam. If they are promising you a too good to be true payments such as get $2,000 just to sign up, it is a definite red flag. Be careful. I know you are not dumb but some people are so naive about the scam thing online.

1. Blogging - This is tested and a lot of people are doing it right now. They blog for fun and at the same time for money. Please check this blog to get a list of sites where you can earn money while blogging.

2. GPT Click Sites - This is tested but slow earnings. I have made almost $20 in a month but your eyes would get crazy clicking at sites. You also get a lot of virus from doing this. I am not sure why but I guess there is just a lot of potential for you to meet the infected sites. Scams are everywhere so please check my other post.

3. GPT Take Surveys - I registered a lot of sites for this kind of opportunity but there are not that much surveys out there that I can qualify. It is not stable. You just wait until there is a survey plus you have to quality. It takes 10 or more minutes for you to finish one. One thing that I liked about this was I knew things before the media spread them on TV. I took a survey about movies one day and I learned that the Shrek III and Pirates of the Carribean "The Worlds End" movies would be coming out soon. It is fun but not that much money compared to blogging and clicking sites. Check out the sites listed below. I am not affiliated with them but I just thought I'd share the sites with you so you do not have to burn your eyes from searching.

Synovate
GlobalTestMarket
Mindfield Online
Ipsos
ZoomPanel
MySurveyToday
SurveySavvy
Valued Opinions
Choozz
Opinion Outpost
Lightspeed Panel
Clear Voice Surveys
Acop

For more survey sites, check this site.

4. GPT Read Emails - If you can handle a lot of emails to check and click, then this is a perfect opportunity for you. I have not tried this because I am too busy blogging. But, if you have more time than I do, try it once and see it for yourself. Htmail and InboxDollars give this opportunity.

5. Play Games and Get Paid - Play games like scrabble and bejeweled. You earn money while having fun. You have to be a good player, though. Try Yahoo Games and WorldWinner.

So, did you have fun learning the money-making ideas online? Grab the opportunity with caution and start earning money now.

Oooppss...he wants to grab the camera. He said stop "taking pictures of my handsome face!".

How did I get Pop-ups in my blog? Part III

What a mess!!!

Well...I did not get any pop ups today from my blog but I did get some from other blogs. And guess what? It was a pornography site. I was disgusted. My husband (jokingly) told me that I searched it and it was not really a pop up. Ahhhhhh NO!

I am so happy that there are a lot of bloggers whom I was able to help on their pop up problem. I am glad they were able to find the modified code. I guess Blogger staff need to figure out how to protect their members from hackers. I mean, we use their service because it is really great. I hope they protect us as loyal members from any kind of bugs that destroy our blogs.

I hate to think that those hackers earn money by putting their code into someone else's site. That is just not right. Why can't they just earn money without disturbing other people's hard work? We try to make a living and earn some extra cash and somebody else just makes it more difficult to achieve.

Yesterday, I discovered a safer browser to use. That is FIREFOX browser. They said that it has some features on it that (they said) helps you avoid spywares or viruses from sites that you visit. I used to use internet explorer and it really sucked. Internet Explorer hang up my computer a lot and I had to restart my computer three times while dropping entrecards. Now with Firefox, it has been great for me. It is faster and easy to use. When you visit another blogs or sites, it opens another tab ( not the annoying separate window). It is very good for entrecard dropping. I suggest for you to use this browser.

I hope that your pop ups are gone and blogging is back to normal. Keep writing and do not give up.
