Little Boy Playing Computer Games

With a computer savvy four year old in the house, you really have to pay close attention to the games that they may be playing on the computer, if they are being played at all. Our son likes to play games online and there are games out there that are fine for adults, but you may not want your four year old paying them. Take boxhead 2 and age of war for example.

As adults we are able to separate the violence from reality, but that may not be the case for your little one. As you are ripping the arms off an orc in age of war, or shooting your way through a mall in boxhead 2 you may turn around and see your son trying to rip the arms off a puppet, or making the gun sign and pointing it at his little sister. If you catch that happening, please stop the behavior immediately and teach your child that this is not the correct way to behave.
