Wow, I totally lost track of my blogging activity. It has been over two weeks since my last post. I can't believe it. I have been busy lately with other things. I painted my room, hung new wall decors, been going to the park with the kids a lot and a lot more. I will really try my best to update this.

LiteSpeed Technology hosting on 8-core Xeon servers with the most competitive pricing; this is an inviting headline for any web hosting site, but for some reason I decided to dig around a bit on this one. I found something interesting about it compared to some. You get 15 more days to evaluate their service than most sites are willing to give. They also offer to beat their competitors by 10%. Perhaps if you are in need of web hosting service you should check them out.

I am happy with blogspot though for now. Maybe because it is free and meets most if not all of my blogging needs. Later, as my blog empire expands though, I may need something more extensive and in depth. I hope I can be able to do that someday soon. I hope that these guys are still around when that time comes. How often do you clean your computer screen? I wipe my computer monitor or screen as much as I can but my son just loves to leave his fingerprints. My son likes to play with some kids' games in my PC and he leaves his prints every time.

I went back to Entrecard dropping again. I stopped for a while and then I came back last night. Dropping takes a lot of time and sometimes I don't have the time that's why I forget or don't do it. I try not to be inactive for a long long time. Entrecard staff might delete my account.

I know this is too late but it is better to be late than not posting it at all. I was paid by Blogsvertise for my hardwork and I could not be happier. My first payment was $39.00. I used some of the money to pay for my son's cute rolling back pack. I could not have bought it without the extra money I got from them. They were late in sending the payment but it was okay. They paid me maybe 7 days later.

I am not really good when it comes to this stuff. I did not study computer or internet. I did not know that their are types of web hosting. Honestly, staying with a free web hosting place like Blogger is not a big deal. I can just stay here forever but I often think about the advantages of going somewhere else. Or should I go somewhere else?

There are quite a few of options in the market for web hosting but I want something that is affordable with good customer service. I saw Web Hosting Pad and the price is great. However, it has mixed reviews and that discouraged me.

I want a web hosting server that is affordable. I also want something that can store loads of pictures. I better check this Best Web Hosting Awards 2009 list. It will probably give me some kind of an idea about what I need.

I love getting extra bucks from this blog. I love knowing that I have some pending extra cash to withdraw. I love telling my husband that I have money to pay for my make-up or new clothes or shoes. Because of those reasons, I went back to writing again with my other blog. I ignored it for two months because I got lazy. That was a huge mistake.

I got a comment in one of my blogs stating that I should delete one of the posts (I talked about the joy of being a mother in that post.). Really? Who are you to tell me what to write and what to feel. I love being a mother and I love my kids. Uurrrgghhh...I am sorry if you are a loser but that post will remain.

I woke up this morning at about 4:30. Yes, pretty early, huh!. I had to wake up early so I could get to work on time. My shift was at 6:00. Now, I feel like I am drunk. I have no focus. I am just tired. I want to take a nap. However, I need to post more in this blog. I have blog ops that have been pending for a while. I better start now.

I love it. I spent some of my blog bucks today. It feels so good. I wish I had more blogs you know but I just can't do it. I can't maintain more than one blog. This blog is enough for now.

Well, I hope you guys are not giving up and still blogging. Just so you know, I was able to buy myself a pair of sandals, a swimsuit for my little girl and some shorts for my little guy and me. Yeah! I bought them from my extra earnings.

Unemployment rate is very horrible right now. People are losing jobs. People who are looking for jobs can't find one. I am just glad that the company where I work is stable enough that they are not laying off employees. However, they are not hiring new employees.

Did you just lose your job? Why don't you start blogging. Maybe, it can help pay some of your bills.

I am not sure how many visitors I get on this blog everyday but I am just happy that my Alexa Rank gets better and better everytime I see it. I have not dropped my EC these recent weeks because I have been too busy. I try to give my best to update this blog though because I don't want to lose my PR3. The lower the PR, the lesser opportunities I get if you know what I mean. Oh well, I better start visiting other sites too.

I just withdrew my money from my account at Social Spark. It has been a great year for me. I have been getting at most $100 a month. It is extra money in my pocket and it is a good thing. I can do whatever I want with it. Yes...that is the great reward of blogging.

Don't give your blogging up everyone. Just take it easy and post at least once a week.

I have a another blog and it is really not active so I don't visit it a whole lot. However, this blog has a loyal fan. This someone always comes to visit and leaves a comment. The only problem is that his/her comments are nasty (XXX) and spammy. Oh dear! I just don't know how this person has the time to do this EVERYDAY. Yes, this person leaves a comment everyday.

Hmmm...I wonder if he/she uses a software or something to leave comments to blogs. I wonder if I have a virus in my computer. I don't see any Trojan or something like that when I scan my computer. Oh well. I hope not. That blog is going to expire soon so I won't renew it. Hopefully, it will stop that person who does not have anything else to do apparently.

Since I started blogging in 2008, I have been really curious about HTML codes, flash, softwares, simple programs, seo, keywords, megatag, and so much more. I just learned them from reading, trials and errors, and just patience. They are actually very challenging to learn about.

I asked my husband how I could make my own simple software or a simple widget. He said, simple. He went downstairs and grabbed this big heavy thick book. He said, just read that. I was like, "Are you kidding?". That book is so thick I don't even know when to start reading. Just the thought of the book's size gets me lazy. I like to read and figure out things but I am not sure if I have the time. I have this dream though so reading that book is always in the back of my head.

Someday, I would like to be able to stay at home and make my own software. Who knows? That could make me some money. It would be nice. I could make my own website like Facebook but better. You know what I mean?

Yeah. I have this weird dream but I think there is nothing wrong about it. I will just keep trying, learn slowly but surely, and read whenever I can.

I have seen a lot of blogs where their videos are too big for the space of their main column. The blog just looks unprofessional.

Today, I just want to share some simple tricks on how to resize Youtube videos to fit your blog either in the sidebar or the main column where your contents are.

There are two ways to do it:

1. Resize the player in Youtube before embedding the video.

You just click embed then choose the size. If the smallest size option is still too big for your blog then the next trick will be the next option.

2. Customize the size in the html code. The html code looks like this.

Check the codes that I circled green. Just change the width and height numbers. The width and height numbers on top should match the bottom's width and height. It is a trial and error process. Patience is the key.

I am not complicated. I will provide you simple instructions on how to add a favicon to your blog. If you do not know what a favicon is, check this post.

1. Choose a picture to be your favicon. The smaller the better. I'd say the smallest option you have is 16x16 pixel picture. You can make your own picture through paint if you are artistic enough, you can pick your own picture from your albums or you can search for free icons or images online if you know how to find the picture's url.

2. Find the URL address of your picture. Check this link for a sample of a picture that can be used as a favicon. The url address for this picture is http://dl6.glitter-graphics.net/pub/207/207886wyf8s5ujz3.jpg which I got from www.glitter-graphics.com.

If you have your own picture, upload it to photobucket.com or any photo hosting sites to get a URL address for your picture. The URL starts with http:// and usually ends with .jpg or .gif.

3. The Favicon Code. Once you have your photo URL ready, then it is time to insert it in the code below.

4. Edit your Template Contents. Go to EDIT HTML under the Layout Menu.



Find this code </head> in the contents and paste the Favicon Code above it.

Check this sample below. Click the picture for a closer look.


5. Click Preview and Save. Click Preview to make sure you have what you want and then click Save Template.

6. Enjoy Your Favicon. Let me know if it did not work for you.

What is a favicon? It is a website icon that is displayed in the browser's address bar.

I wish I have time to change my layout. I am getting bored looking at my blog. There is just too much going on in my life right now such as taking care of a new baby and the little boy (big brother). Well, maybe I can do it when I can stay home with my kids. Someday...
