How to make yourself thin?

My mother-in-law and I were watching the TV show "I can make you thin" at TLC. It is very interesting because the host, Paul McKenna, taught the viewers about these easy 4 golden rules.

If you want to lose weight, you must follow them.

1. When you are hungry, EAT. - That will certainly starts your metabolism.
2. Eat what you want. - Hmmm....this sounds crazy but you must follow rule no. 3.
3. Eat consciously. - Eat slow and enjoy the food. Eat, put the fork and spoon back to the table, chew the food for 20 seconds, then pick the fork and spoon for food again.
4. When you are full, STOP. - When you eat fast, your brain won't sense right away that your tummy is full. You must follow rule no. 3 so you feel full tummy sooner.

I need to watch him again next week. He will talk about emotional eating. I sometimes eat sweets when I am depressed and that is not a good thing. I should not miss this episode.

My son told me to sit on a dump truck for a six pack abs. Somehow, I doubt that.

I did not catch the whole show, only the last half hour. But, it sounded quite interesting. I hope to catch the whole show next week. Speaking of eating when your hungry, I am hungry right now, so I am going to have a snack.

Yes, I think those tips are right! I just have a problem following number 4 - I feel guilty wasting food!

Oh, BTW, I added you to my favorite sites list!

Have a great day!

Great points. I'm so glad you reminded me of them ... eat slow and enjoy. Your son is so cute.

Your son is so cute! My husband lost over 30 pounds by eliminating animal products from his diet. (I had already done that many years ago, do not need to lose any lbs!)
