I don't have any childhood memories of Alvin and the Chipmunks so I asked my husband about it. He said, "I never thought that my mom would voluntarily let a rodent into my house. Yet that is what we, as a family did when we let Alvin and the Chipmunks into the house for the first time. I always think that I associated with Simon the most. The geeky skinny one with glasses that covered for his older brother who was always in trouble. Yep... that was me." I laughed at his answer. He added, "This is the second movie based on a childhood favorite cartoon of mine... Alvin and the Chipmunks".

I have to admit, I have neither seen these movies but I already have a plan to see this someday soon with my son. He will probably enjoy the music. I know that Charice Pempengco or her voice is in the movie. I am a fan of this Filipino kid.



"Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" is already available on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download. My sister-in-law already got a copy of it for her son. The Double DVD Pack actually includes "The Squeak Along" Bonus Disc, more music, mayhem and all-new singalongs which my husband will probably get a kick out of. (I am just laughing right now thinking about it.) This is the type of movie that my family could watch together. Definitely.
