Get Master of Arts in Teaching Degree Online

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of USC. All opinions are 100% mine.

Getting a degree online is not something new. I hear commercials about it on TV quiet often. It is not too late to get a degree especially that you can just take it online at the comfort of your home or somewhere convenient with your own computer.

In college, some years ago, I took a Teaching Degree but did not finish because I had to come to the United States for my visa. I only had one semester left but it was just the wrong timing. I had no regrets though because I was not really sure if I wanted to take that path in my career field.

Now, I still have this back and forth thoughts if I still want to teach. I have been talking about it with my husband and he is all out support about me getting a teaching degree and maybe finish it online. So recently, I have been searching about online universities, the pros and cons and the finances.

Well, the USC Rossier School of Education’s MAT@USC is currently offering educators and aspiring teachers the opportunity of earning a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from a good research university by studying online. Other than the ability to study with convenience and flexibility, it has highly interactive online learning combined with field-based experiences in your local area, excellent tuition reimbursement program which is exclusive for MAT@USC graduates, accelerated program you can complete in as little as 12 months, opportunity to become a part of the elite USC Trojan Family, scholarships, technology video that introduces the interactivity of the program, first cohort of the MAT@USC graduate in May, full USC student status and benefits, and participation in commencement ceremonies and free lifetime Alumni Association memberships.

Other than the above benefits, MAT@USC also has a student blog where you'll hear perceptions about the program from the actual students which is kind of helpful especially if you have some questions about the school.

MAT@USC together with Rossier received an award from AACTE for the use of innovative technology in education. MAT@USC has been ranked No.22 in the US, and No.9 among all private universities by US News and World Report, and it is an internationally renowned research institution with a 100-year history of educating teachers to be agents of change.

It is actually pretty interesting and inviting. If you are interested as well, you can get the program information by going to their website.

Getting a degree is not too late. I like this quote from Harvey Ullman: "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether this happens at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps on learning not only remains young, but becomes constantly more valuable regardless of physical capacity".
